Milcham is a Family-owned Beverage Company based in Miami, Florida. Its unique name originates from the Hebrew Mythology of the Phoenix Bird, the only creature that refused to eat the forbidden fruit offered by Eve and was rewarded by God with immortality.
The legend of Milcham has a highly relevant meaning for Philippe Bellande Sr., founder of Milcham Trading LLC, who, instead of enjoying retirement, chose to pursue a dream of personal and professional rebirth by creating his own business after a successful thirty-year career in Sales and Marketing with two multinational FMCG’s, Coca-Cola and Mars. In 2015, his son, Philippe Jr. joined him to experience his own professional rebirth after a successful career in the Steel Industry.
Milcham Trading LLC was founded in March 2013 as a Marketing and Distribution Solution for multinational companies looking to expand their brands to new markets. After three years of learning about the beverage industry in Latin America, Philippe Sr. thought that the company should pursue opportunities in the US market instead. In 2016, the company started an Import and Distribution business based in Miami, Florida.
Now in its fifth year, Milcham Trading LLC distributes various beverage brands in the State of Florida and also has customers in Texas. Its portfolio includes Wines from Italy and Spain, as well as Spirits from the US and Europe and Natural Mineral Water from the UK.
With new challenges and opportunities lying ahead, the company is ready to leverage the new world being shaped by the on-going pandemic. The beverage industry is seriously affected by the changes but we are willing to continue to provide consumers with quality wines, spirits and natural mineral waters by servicing the off-premise accounts that are experiencing substantial increases as a result of the national “stay home” policies.
