On Sunday, we took the day off to rest from the first three days and enjoy Pamplona once more.

Day 2: From Roncesvalles (Burguete) to Zubiri -Distance 13 Kms in 4 hours and 55 minutes with elevation gain of 219 meters and 26K steps. Tough second day as we kept climbing through rough terrain.

I do not recall the first time I heard about Camino de Santiago. It may have been from the movie “The Way”, starred by Martin Sheen. All I know is that it has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember.
